Life - the product of thought

When our thoughts flow outside, they do not merely flap their wings in vacuum. They play a decisive role in making our direction steady or flexible, in making us reach or poor, or in crowning our efforts with success or failure. If we know how to direct our thoughts through a proper channel, we can realize ourselves from all kinds of troubles and can lead a life full of bliss. The thoughts that emerge in our mind are like arrows. Depending on power an intensity you possess, these arrows can have an impact on the hearts of others, and they come back like a boomerang to cause you pain or pleasure. It follows, therefore, that it is in your interest to harbour beautiful thoughts in your mind because they manifest themselves very soon as the best form of your external circumstances.

You must always strive to hold your inner vitality under your control. if you do so, you save your external  circumstances to your heart's content. the difference between an aspirant and the other who indulges in worldly pleasures is that the former has his senses under his control, where as later is the slave of his senses. They who wish to keep their minds useful, forceful and cheerful will never allow harmful, reprehensible and impure thoughts to stray into  their  minds. If you wish to attend a higher level of existence, while giving way to anger, passion, avarice, jealousy and similar other evil thoughts, your quest will never bear fruit. Similarly if you wish to remain healthy while living under the influence of mean thoughts, you will never gain your goal.

Yogis are of the view that thought is one of the most powerful sources of energy and it can lead us to where we wish to go. Thoughts and feeling provide energy to all our organs. If you exercise one of your arms without giving any thought to what your are doing and other arm thinking all the time that the arm is getting stronger, you will when checking with a proper instrument find that the later has gained more straight than the former withing the forth night. Hence it has been proved conclusively that if we concentrate on strength we gain strength.
