ROAD TO HAPPINESS

Do not let any thoughts enter in your mind except happy thoughts becasue the thought that always haunt your mind will shape your destiny. The things that you always concerntrate on will be attracted towards you. If the state of somebody is really wretched, it will be found that his thought his sole cause of his wretchedness. The thoughts emerging in your mind provide the basis for your future action. If you think of nothing else except misery and proverty, that will intensify you misery and proverty. Conversely, nobody can be happy unless he firmly holds in his mind the idea of happiness. The mind is like a field where some thoughts or other always keeps growing, causing us happiness or misery. If you think along this line, the quality of your life go up.

If you are miserable or proverty-striken, nobody is to be blamed. Its root cause lies inside you. It is your duty to search and destroy it. Always keep a watch on your mind taking care that no gloomy or impure thoughts cast thier shadow on it. This is the road to your hapiness and well-being and you yourself will be amazed at the changes taking place within you.

It is said that God makes His devotees poor. This is not true. God does not make anybody destitute, nor will he make anybody a fool. He does not shower wealth on anybody. he does not make anybody strong or erudite. God is compasiionate and mercyful. He fulfills the wishes of everybody. He bestows on them fruits that are consistent with thier wishes and thoughts.

As has been written in Bhagavadgita-

"(Think of yourself what you wish to be)"

If you think a while you will come to the conclusion that why should God, The perfect being create the world which is imperfect. Divine law governs the entire world including the creatures inhabiting it. Anybody who act against this law will be punished in the long run. Every error will bring about appropriate punishment. Every transgression of the law will produce correspondance punishment. Infact he himself is the author of his suffering. What i mean to say is that man is created with the capacity to attain perfection, but he finds himself suffering in various ways becasue of his own misdeeds.
